ATLANTIC BEACH RESCUE HEADQUARTERS - (360)
Completed in 2003 with through efforts of the Village of Atlantic Beach, Town of Hempstead, Senator Dean Skelos, Assemblyman Harvey Weisenberg, Mayor Steve Mahler, Atlantic Beach Fire Commissioners and Chief Jonathan Kohan and Asst Chief Neil Metz.
Atlantic Beach Rescue Headquarters ( 360 ) is a state of the art rescue facility with water access, the bay hold 4 rescue vehicles and complete with ready room, kitchen, Chiefs Office, Communications room and Commissioners Office. In addition to housing equipment and serving as a HQ for ABR, Station serves the community as a resource for events and education such as CPR and first aid classes.
